Picture books are some of the bestselling in children’s books history. This
is a huge market which has lots of different styles and methods of completion
to create their books.
It flooded with so many books at lots of age ranges that it’s a difficult
thing to create something which is unique and not an ordinary approach to a
child's book.
A way to get some different styles into my head of what has been done before
is to look at lots of different books which are in the picture book category.
There are many websites which do this as there are equal amounts of books in
this field. One of my favourite websites was this one as this has some of the
best in the business and all with pictures and links to their books.
Just on this one page there is 100 of the top designed and well written
books ever. And luckily they are mostly all different styles in each book, so I
now have a broad range of what my children's book may look on the in and
outside.
